In the insanity of the school year, it can be challenging to make heads or tails of any weight loss program. With confusing information out there about diets and weight loss, it can be hard to figure out exactly what will work best for you. This summer, Heart In Motion invites you to “quiet the noise” about diets and learn how to make weight loss changes that MAKE SENSE and that you can STICK WITH! In our 5 part weight loss series “Unlocking the Secrets to Weight Loss,” you will gain practical knowledge and applicable skills to help you LOSE WEIGHT FOR THE LAST TIME….AND KEEP IT OFF. So throw away the diet books, point counting, and deprivation programs of your past and join us for a realistic, fresh perspective on weight loss.

This class is interactive, eye opening, and fun and will end on week 5 with a class on how to apply your weight loss skills in the kitchen. During this last class, you will learn how to cook almost everything you need for a week in 1.5 hours. Fresh, simple whole foods that taste amazing! The series also includes a free 6 week membership to, an amazing online weight loss coaching support program. Childcare will be provided but must be pre-registered to plan for enough workers.

Katherine Huffman is the owner of Heart In Motion, a unique weight loss coaching company that focuses on the nutritional, behavioral, and lifestyle components of weight loss. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Meredith College and a master’s degree in counseling from Regent University. She has worked simultaneously in fitness and wellness coaching for the past 13 years and had owned Heart In Motion since 2005.
Katherine is also an AFAA certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor with professional training in Pilates, yoga-fit, TRX, Balletone, resistance and stability ball training, mid-life fitness for women, mechanics of injury prevention and nutrition.

It is Katherine’s true passion to help clients identify roadblocks that hinder them from achieving a maintainable healthy lifestyle. Through in-person consultations, seminars, online wellness coaching, and, Katherine helps clients to bridge the gap from dieting to lifestyle change. She helps them to integrate exercise with lifestyle adaptations to create an effective program for weight loss that can be maintained for life.

Katherine is a dynamic speaker who regularly travels for seminars to community organizations, schools, churches, and businesses.
